Reals is an event and social app for Dubai, operated by Mifto Technologies FZCO.

Information you provide

Reals uses your account information to sign you in and your profile information to show the name, handle, photo and other details you choose to share. Event requests, tickets and check-ins support event participation. Realies connections record people you have met; Moments and messages support sharing and conversation.

Joining the waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, Instagram handle and consent to receive emails about Reals. You may also share your name, other social profiles, area, device and offline community details. We use these details to send launch news and updates, understand interest in Reals and plan the launch. Referral and campaign parameters help us understand how you found us; we also store the form language and signup and consent dates.

Waitlist details are private and are not shown to other visitors or app users. Signing up again with the same email updates the details you previously shared. Waitlist registration does not create a Reals account.

For this pre-launch waitlist, details are currently stored in our Supabase staging database in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1). They will be moved to the production database in Tokyo, Japan (ap-northeast-1) when that environment is built. This temporary waitlist use is separate from the app's internal staging tests.

To withdraw consent, stop receiving emails or request deletion of your waitlist details, email hello@mifto.ae from the address you used to sign up. We keep waitlist details for launch communications until you request deletion or the waitlist is no longer needed.

The signup form uses a hidden spam check and a short-lived, hashed IP identifier to limit repeated submissions. The IP identifier is not stored with your signup.

What other people can see

Public event pages, public profile details and Company details can be viewed without signing in, including through shared links. Your location appears on your profile only when you enable it. Realies and Moments follow the privacy settings and access rules in the app. Do not put information you want to keep private in a public profile or event description.

Event participation

Event hosts use participation information to manage requests and check people in. Approved attendance can appear in an event's going list. Reals does not process event payments in the app; payment is arranged directly with the host.

Storage and service providers

Reals uses Supabase for account authentication, its database and uploaded photos. Production data is planned to be stored in Japan, in the Tokyo region (ap-northeast-1). Our separate staging environment uses the Mumbai region (ap-south-1) for development and internal testing. The production configuration must be verified before launch.

PostHog in the EU measures a limited set of event participation steps. Sentry receives technical errors and sampled performance diagnostics. Reals does not include names, email addresses, message text, photos, location coordinates or authentication tokens in its analytics events or error reports. Autocapture, session recording and advertising tracking are disabled. Service providers may process technical connection information outside the Supabase storage region; the final provider regions and retention periods must be confirmed before launch.

Location

When you choose Nearby and grant location access, Reals sends coordinates to find events near you. You can use other discovery filters without location access. Your profile location is a separate detail you choose to share.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, change available privacy settings, block people and report content in the app. You can request account deletion from Settings → Delete account. Deletion can affect events you host and content connected to your account.
